I am passionate about being an accountant! When my husband (and now, also a colleague) Ingo couldn't stop going on about how great Strauss was as an employer, I knew that I wanted to be a part of it!

Our department receives all invoices that are sent to Strauss.

It is our task to file them in our finance system, check and then book them. Do the sums correlate, is the tax number correct and is everything just right?

I love the diversity of my job! We at Strauss always remain curious and open-minded. We are also always on the search for new paths and initiatives that help our progress.

I am also in contact with many colleagues and brand partners. This makes every day special and interesting. I don't just work at Strauss, it's where I have found my second family - teamwork, humour and fun are always the order of the day!

I joined the Strauss team in 2019 and I can't imagine working anywhere else now! Our team is responsible for booking incoming payments from the banks to customer accounts, clarifying customer balances for account receivables or credits, and rewriting invoices if necessary. This is an incredibly interesting field and not only involves handling the numbers, but also having contact with our customers. Every day, I face new challenges, projects and tasks. But the best part is our team. You can look forward to a really friendly atmosphere. And you can ALWAYS rely on your colleagues, be it when you are on leave or in a social setting after work.

After I finished school in 2016, I started a dual degree program at Strauss. I was able to gain a lot of insights into various teams and departments. - Strauss helped me find my own path. And that was credit management: dunning, debt collection and project management. One of the exciting things about our department is that we constantly receive new projects and tasks as a result of internationalism and company growth. This makes my work highly interesting.

You could compare the day-to-day work of mycolleagues with that of detectives.

Often, customer orders are routine processes (e.g. in the online shop or in the app) - but as soon as there is a 'mystery' (fraud or debt collection case), we start investigating. Our goal is always to offer our customers the best possible shopping experience from A to Z. We are a very young and dynamic team that has a lot of room to ply its trade at work.

„Strauss goes International! Be it pop-up stores, trade fairs or large expansion projects. I joined Strauss as a career-changer in 2021 and have never regretted it. Strauss recognised and cultivated my strengths in the project management field, and now I steer company-wide internationalisation projects.

As a project manager, I am the main contact partner in every project phase and, at the same time, I also interface with all other project participants. This is why I have daily contact with many colleagues and brand partners - also from other countries and cultures. I plan projects carefully and then set up a structure in which everyone can participate. Then I gather a lot of input that needs to be analysed and documented. What is the biggest challenge here? Recognising show-stoppers and identifying the special aspects of each country. After this, I work with the team to identify how the various national specifications can be implemented at Strauss. Be it legal, tax-related or technical issues - everything needs to be taken into consideration! I must be careful to keep an eye on everything and react flexibly, especially since many projects run in parallel and pose different kinds of challenges. Things never get boring and I keep learning new stuff.

After the Go-Live is before the Go-Live of the next project: We are pioneers and always forge ahead. That's what really impresses me about Strauss!“

I came to Biebergemünd from Syria in 2015 and first worked as an interpreter. But the red bird in my neighbourhood always fascinated me! In the third year of my apprenticeship, I saw many aspects of the accounting department and discovered my passion for numbers. I have an eye for detail and like to work precisely. I then started my internship at Strauss in summer 2020. Today, I am responsible for booking invoices and coordinating collection orders. One of the best things about my job is my team. Everyone is so helpful and friendly, we have a lot of fun at work. At Strauss, colleagues become friends!
